Nexans is a worldwide leading expert in the cable industry, offering an extensive range of cables and cabling systems. 

Nexans plans to build and operate a High Voltage Plant in Charleston, SC.  This facility is designed to operate as part of the High Voltage Business group, with the goal of establishing a world class manufacturing facility and supplier of underground and submarine high voltage cables.

The Plant Manager position will have responsibility for the new facility and will report to the VP & GM for the High Voltage Business Group North America.  During the start-up phase, the Plant Manager will also report to the Corporate Industrial Manager.

Primary responsibilities will include both the construction and post-construction management of the facility which includes ongoing plant operations.  The Plant Manager will be responsible for the execution and completion of all project work including acquisition and coordination of resources relating to preconstruction, construction, and post-construction phases and adhering to deadlines and remaining within budget.

1.    Experience in quality assurance and quality control. Must be well versed with various national and international standards, capable of handling inspections.Planning and scheduling of Tests and Certificates preparation as per Indian Standards,    Responsible for In-coming material inspection, Final Product Quality Assurance, Internal Quality Audit with respect to ISO procedure for cables & Conductors.

 Should have firsthand knowledge of cable production including CCV line.The incumbent will be involved in the production process of cables and conductors in the factory. Spearheading production related tasks including planning, control and trouble shooting, handling shop floor operations optimizing man & machine utilization to achieve production targets, Developing new process concepts for production optimization.
